Introducing Foody - Food recipe management app
O

I'm a software developer based in the United Arab Emirates πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺ. I enjoy coding open-source projects that solve unique, out-of-the-box problems. I love combining my hobbies like design, coding and building various cool projects with Raspberry Pi and IoT. Obsessed with Automation and Software Development.

Intro

Do you love πŸ˜‹? Don't have any idea?

Foody is here to help! An food recipe management app!

This application was made for the Hasura X Hashnode Hackathon!

Like it to up-vote!

What is Foody?

Foody helps you to add recipes into the app, so if one day you are out of ideas, you can check the application and choose the day's recipe! I hope you have good food πŸ•!

If you were happy with your food! Tell me in the comments, would like to hear from you πŸ˜‹!

What did I use?

I used many things, it will be hard to list them all, but the most important things are:

  • Hasura GraphQL (Back-end)

  • Flutter (Front-end)

How can I try it?

The GitHub Repo link is located at the bottom!

To run the app, you need:

Pre-requisites

For more, check the README.md on GitHub.

Can I use the app?

Yes, it is free and open-source under MIT License, just don't think that you have the code, you own the project and you can do anything, it's my work πŸ™πŸ₯Ί!

You can use the app from GitHub for learning purposes, I would like people to learn from my work πŸ˜‡!

Amazing project, and it is good to focus more on the UI little bit as the functions and backend as the design is the point which grabs the user to the app

Good luck, dear Omar Moustafa...

O

Sofia, this is what I had just learned from the previous Hackathon "Netlify x Hashnode Hackathon", so I did applied what I learned in this one, which is focusing on the UI more to grab the user to try the app πŸ˜…πŸ˜Š!

Amazing project!! Great work πŸ’ͺ

O

Thank youuuu Tydinis GR!

P

Great Work Man!! The UI of the app looks smooth. Omar Moustafa

O

Thanks Pratik Sharma, and what I did from last Hackathon "Netlify Hackathon" is that to focus on the UI, as the user sees the UI first, then if he likes it, he upvotes the app. And you, what did you did?
