2. What does NativeScript do?

We said NativeScript is an open-source framework to develop mobile applications. Which is quiet clear. So, it is like an back-end language to make mobile apps.

Here is an example:

3. Why choose NativeScript?

NativeScript is pretty more better than React Native, you can call platform's API from JavaScript without writing Native Code. This advantage makes NativeScript better than React Native!!!

NativeScript APIs

Developers can call platform APIs from JavaScript instead of writing native code with Objective-C or Kotlin. This is where NativeScript has an advantage over React Native because JavaScript developers don't need expertise in a specific platform language to work with Native APIs.

4. More info about NativeScript

NativeScript is an open-source framework to develop mobile apps on the Apple iOS and Android platforms. It was originally conceived and developed by Progress. At the end of 2019 responsibility for the NativeScript project was taken over by long-time Progress partner, nStudio.
